Join us for our Winter 2024 season of Stonewall Sports Bowling here in Richmond.



REGISTRATION

Registration for captains opens Monday, December 11th at 12:01 AM and regular registration for team players and free agents opens on Wednesday, December 13th at 12:01 AM. Registration closes on Friday, December 29th at 11:59 PM or when league capacity is met.

TEAM SIZE

Teams of 8 players.

Teams are considered complete once they have at least 6 registered players. A complete team is guaranteed a spot in the upcoming season. Any team with less than 6 players at the close of registration will receive free agents to meet the required number of players per team. Free agents will not be assigned to any team with 6 or more registered players unless approved by the captain or league capacity has been met and all teams must be filled. It is very likely that league registration will max out and that teams of less than 8 will receive free agents!

If you are brand new to the Stonewall Sports - Richmond family, you do not need a team to register. Many teams within our league have started as free agent teams or as a small group of 2 or 3 players.

Small groups of more than 3 are not guaranteed placement on the same team.


GAMES

Games will be played at Bowlero - Sunset Lanes (6540 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23230)

Regular season games will be Tuesday nights starting January 30th and ending on March 5th. Six weeks of gameplay.

Match times will begin at 7:00pm and run until roughly 9:30pm.

Each match will consist of three games of four players each.


FEE WAIVER

Financial access should not be a barrier to participation in our league. The Stonewall Sports - Richmond fee waiver is designed to offer individuals experiencing financial hardship the opportunity to become a member of the Stonewall Sports - Richmond Community at a discounted and/or waived fee. TEAM T-SHIRT COLORS

Team captains will be able to choose their t-shirt color based upon the following parameters:

1. A returning team may keep their bowling t-shirt color if that team has a returning captain/co-captain in a team leadership role.

2. T-shirt color preferences will be honored based upon the order that teams complete their registration (having 6+ registered members) and provided the captain requests T-shirt colors from the following T-Shirt color options link:

Once a team is granted a shirt color, subsequent requests for similar colors may not be granted at board discretion if it is deemed that the color request will make it difficult to discern one team from another.

3. Once a captain's shirt preference is logged, if that team decides to change shirt color preferences, their team's place in preference order may also change depending on the number of teams who have complete registrations and have provided accurate T-shirt color option requests. The color requests must be reported to richmond.bowling@stonewallsports.org, even if the change is made on LeagueApps. The email timestamp will be used to determine new placement in preference order.

4. If you would like to update your color preferences after registration closes, it must be done via email to richmond.bowling@stonewallsports.org.

Please be advised the t-shirt order is sent out for fulfillment very quickly after registration closes, so we may not be able to accommodate color changes after the close of registration.
