This season you will see a couple of new things during
registration. Please read carefully.

We have reached the capacity for the max number of teams for the Spring 2021 season. If your team was not able to register, please send an email to John Schultz, richmond.kbxsports@stonewallsports.org, to be added to a waiting list.
COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
- Masks will be required at all times, including during game play, while inside the field fences of the Henderson Softball Complex.
- Captains will submit a written lineup at the start of each game for attendance. (line up sheets will be provided)
- Hand sanitizer will be provided at each field and teams will use it to clean hands between innings.
- Each game will utilize two kickballs and teams will use the same ball each inning when they are in the field. Kickballs will be sanitized in between each inning and between games.
- A rule amendment will be in place regarding catcher encroachment to ensure player health and safety. See rule amendment information in next section below.
- Teams should arrive at their scheduled field and game no more than 10 minutes before the start of their game and leave at the conclusion of their game.
- To reduce the number of individuals at the fields, spectators are not allowed. (Exceptions may be made for transportation purposes)
TEAM SIZE
Teams of 15-18 players.
Teams are considered complete
once they have 15 registered players. This
means that team is guaranteed a spot in the upcoming season. Any team with less than 15 players at the
close of registration, will be asked to receive free agents to meet required number of
players per team. Free Agents will not
be assigned to any team with 15 or more registered players unless approved
by the captain.
CAPTAIN REGISTRATION
This season, we are opening
registration early for team captains to register and set up their teams in
LeagueApps. Registration for Team
Captains will open on Friday, April 2, 2021. General Registration for everyone will open
on Monday, April 5, 2021, at which time team players and free agents may
register. Note, Team Captains may
continue to register and create teams once general registration has opened.
Registration for everyone will close on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 @ 11:59pm.
POD STRUCTURE
This season will not feature different divisions based or ask teams and players to rank themselves during the registration process. Instead, teams will be randomly grouped into Pods at the close of registration. Teams will only play other teams from within their pod and teams will play at the same time each week. ADA Player Accessibility
As our league continues to grow, we are constantly working to be more inclusive to all members
of our community. We are introducing new rules with the intent to make it possible for players
who previously were not able to play because they could not run the bases to have the

TEAM T-SHIRT COLORS
Team captains will be able to
choose their t-shirt color based upon the following parameters:
1. For the current season we are not honoring t-shirt color requests for returning (legacy) teams. T-shirt color preferences will be honored based upon the order that teams complete their registration (having 15+ registered members) and provided the captain requests T-shirt colors from the following T-Shirt color options link. T-Shirt Color Options (once a team is granted a shirt color, subsequent requests by other teams for similar colors may not be granted if it is deemed that the color request will make it difficult to discern one team from another).
2. Once a captain's shirt preference is logged, if that team
decides to change shirt color preferences, their team's place in
preference order may also change depending on the number of teams who
have complete registrations and have provided accurate T-shirt color option
requests. The color requests must be reported to
richmond.operations@stonewallsports.org, even if the change is made on
LeagueApps (the email timestamp will be used to determine new placement in
preference order).
3. If you would like to update your color preferences after
registration it must be done via email to
richmond.operations@stonewallsports.org.
If you are brand new to the Stonewall Sports - Richmond family,
you do not need a team to register. Many teams within our league have started
as Free Agent teams. Free Agents may be assigned to a new or existing team
based on their skill level ranking and availability, but all will be
accommodated!
